Our residents are extremely active! Some of our events & excursions at The Forum at Brookside have included:
- Charter trips to Opryland, Branson Missouri, Horse Country, and even cruises to the Caribbean
- Local trips to Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Center for the Arts, museums and festivals

Educational opportunities with a variety of speakers- Spiritual services with churches from most denominations and Bible studies
- Monthly theme nights in the dining room featuring food and entertainment
- Cards and crafts
- The famous “Brookside Chorus” which meets weekly and is open to all singers
- Our annual resident dog show
- Annual Labor Day family picnic with a petting zoo, hot air balloon rides, kiddie rides, and more.
- Summer Luau, Kentucky Derby, Oktoberfest, Christmas party, and New Year's extravaganza
The Residents Association “Welcome Wagon” takes newcomers under their wing and sees to it that no one's a stranger and everyone enjoys the happenings at The Forum at Brookside!
